Updated: Jul 6, 2023

Pink-colored cherry blossom petals are flowing under the blue sky. We wish you could enjoy this beautiful landscape of early spring.

1. Dano(端午) Images

Dano(단오, 端午), the May 5th of the lunar calendar, is considered one of the three biggest holidays in Korea along with New Year’s Day and Chuseok(추석, 秋夕). Traditionally, known as the day with the strongest power of Yang(陽氣) of the year, the local community strengthened their connection by having ancestral rites and celebrations after planting rice.

Furthermore, the Gangneung Dano Festival, one of the best-known Dano events in South Korea, was selected as an important Intangible Cultural Heritage and a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, and it is one of the many examples of Korean culture’s richness. Create an image that can show our ancestors’ style and taste.

Requested Images: Traditional beverages and snacks made with seasonal Dano fruits, such as Cherry · Mulberry · Wild Berry. Modern lifestyle images of people making Surichwi Tteok(수리취떡, Mugwort Rice Cake) with mugwort and non-glutinous rice powder. People enjoying Dano traditional customs along the lines of Geuneddwigi(그네뛰기, Playing on the Swings), Ssirum(씨름, Traditional Korean Wrestling), and washing their hair with iris-brewed water.

2. Images Expressing Gratitude

Peaceful everyday spending with loved ones is already special. However, the anniversary that comes once a year is much more special since you can express your heart in a unique way. Target Parents’ Day and Teachers’ Day to express your gratitude towards the most important people who guided you to where you are today.

Einspanner, known as a ‘Vienna coffee’ a couple of decades ago to not-so-many people, has evolved in unique ways and won the hearts of Millennials and Gen Zs. Its soft and sweet taste with a creamy texture using butterfat has been rediscovered in small cafes located in Seoul since 2020, and now it can be found all over South Korea these days. Present the present with images of diversified, rediscovered coffee beverages.
