With cool autumn breezes ushering in the season, October is a time when a wide range of shooting opportunities emerge across outdoor activities, culture and leisure, food and beverages, and sports.

For this October’s shooting list, we introduce commercially versatile content centered around autumn lifestyles, K-FOOD and K-BEAUTY, and sports fan culture.

[Pork Dishes to Tempt the Autumn Appetite]

Pork is a familiar and widely consumed part of everyday Korean food culture, making it a highly versatile subject regardless of the season. In autumn, pork can also be naturally connected to various lifestyle scenes such as camping, picnics, and gatherings with family or friends, offering a wide range of content possibilities.

Recommended dishes include samgyeopsal (pork belly), pork neck, grilled pork ribs, spicy stir-fried pork, bossam (boiled pork wraps), suyuk (boiled pork slices), kimchi jjim (braised kimchi with pork), and pork bulgogi.

Rather than photographing only the finished dishes, capture a variety of scenes ranging from the texture of raw pork and the cooking process to the final presentation.

Tip

In addition to appetizing shots of finished dishes, capture a variety of images showing the color of raw meat, the texture of fat and lean meat, and the changes before and after cooking.

To maximize versatility for advertising, food packaging, recipes, and food-related content, capture both front-facing compositions with ample negative space and detailed close-up shots.

[Food Trucks Bringing Autumn Festivals to Life]

As autumn festivals and outdoor activities increase in October, food trucks and street food culture are also highly versatile shooting subjects.

Rather than emphasizing a specific business name or menu, focus on people’s actions and the atmosphere of the food truck experience.

<Submission Guidelines>

  • Minimize Identifiable People

For commercial use, images containing identifiable individuals cannot be submitted unless a Model Release has been obtained. When photographing crowds, people in the background should appear small or be sufficiently blurred so that individuals cannot be identified.

  • Obtain a Property Release

If signs, buildings, business names, or other identifiable property are clearly visible, please obtain a Property Release from the property owner permitting commercial use and submit it along with the image.

  • Handling Property-Related Elements

If obtaining a release is difficult, signs, phone numbers, logos, brand marks, and other identifying elements must be naturally blurred, removed, or mosaicked. Alternatively, specific business names can be replaced with generic terms such as “Cafe,” “Store,” or “Shop” so that the location or business cannot be identified. Please ensure that any post-processing is done naturally without compromising the overall look and atmosphere of the photograph.

  • Please enter the location name when uploading images.
